DAY 6 of WORLD REFLEXOLOGY WEEK 2020

Ear and Facial Reflexology are forms of reflexology that many practitioners add into their practice.

Ear Reflexology (Auricular Therapy) and Facial Reflexology are both based on the idea that the body is mapped on each of these platforms as a micro system, just like on the hands and feet.

With ear reflexology there is also the addition of being able to apply an ear seed, to a specific point on the ear to further assist with pain management and issues in the body.

Auricular therapy has a long history from around 500 BC. Facial reflexology is the newest form of reflex therapy.

During facial reflexology gentle pressure is applied to the different reflex zones and reflexology points on the face.

Both of these forms of reflexology can be used as a stand alone treatment or combined with foot reflexology.
